The end product is an argument over an issue about which there's disagreement, essentiallydand it doesn't need to resolve in a way that like, you know, i agree with you essentially on this point. So listening carefully and lovingly to other people's arguments does multiple kinds of work for us. But we're also gaining new resources that help us to make our own case better. And nstanding that alternative position actually might help me to reconsider and enrich my own.
