The Evidence Isn't Good for Steroids
There really is very weak evidence to suggest a strong benefit of steroids. We're really left with poor quality data that doesn't guide us very much. It's easy to be led astray by small, loquality trials. There is a reason that a single good r c t overrides a metoanalysis most of the time.
