The King of the Jews Greeting
King Demetrius sent a message to the nation of the Jews. He promised them honor and gifts that I may have their help. They were exempt from payment of tribute and salt, tax and crown levies. Every one of the Jews taken as a captive from the land of Judah into any part of my kingdom was set free without payment. All officials cancel also the taxes on their cattle.
