The Importance of Improv
I was attacked by the village kids. I think they just had them laid out on a tray and you could buy raw chicken parts. For some reason, the opening of that store thought they needed a clown to give out balloons. More than once, kids thought that the sight of a clown in the street was a good target. Tell me about how you began to find yourself as a character in improv. Improv is very important to me. It changed me as an actor and it changed me to some extent as a person as well. The kind of improvisation that I admire was invented by a woman called Viola Spolen,. She worked a lot with children.
