I wonder whether the Me Too movement has partly connected women with witches in the past. We still live in a massive patriarchy where women are treated relatively horrendously compared to men, she says. There's still work that needs to be done, but certainly there are more women who are in the public eye making music about their lives and is telling their stories. And I think lifting up people's voices, which is historically what has not happened.
