Metina's Story of a Girl Who Changed the World

When Metina turned 11, her parents packed up the whole family and moved to Nantes in France. She initially attended a private middle school, but when she turned 15, she enrolled in the local public high school. On that first day, Martina remembered the children she had seen through the car window in Madagascar who were unable to attend school. Now here in a place where education was free, a feeling of injustice hit Martina very hard.
