Six-month-old full-term female infant presenting to your clinic with one day of fever with a TMAX 102.7 and fussiness. Mom notes that urine smells a little different. Vitals include temperature as we discussed today it's 102.2 heart rate 140 respiratory rate of 36. Reminder exam is completely normal. So I think the first thing for me is to see if I can get this child to smile because that changes my list of whether there's something serious underlying all of this or another.
