How Does the Blood Clotting Cascade Work?
The results come out in the electronic medical record only as numbers. If you want to see it you have to log into a separate system. There's a software package that comes along with the system itself. It's called remote view and then you can actually see it real time and treat accordingly. Great. And so people may out there that you may be doing this yourself actually loading the blood in the machine or you may just be sending the blue top tubes down to the lab. But certainly find out from your own institution what they want you to do to get this done.
