We have distorted signals within the fiat system, and people have constructed identities as a result of those signals. And if we're making the case that Bitcoin is going to, well, is a means of coordinating those value laden economic transactions without distortion then hopefully it will allow us to construct identities based on what we might call truth. The only real way to do it is to try to determine what the truth of that thing is so that you can't really argue with it and then a new belief or preference emerges within you as a result. I think this is amplified by the Fiat era we live in where things descend into out of control chaos perversion distortion.
