How to Build a Stocks in Playlist
In Australia we're heavily weighted toward resource stocks and oftentimes you can get some really nice lead-ins from overnight moves in commodities. Let's say for example, I don't know, nickel might be down 6% on the LME overnight. And so I'll come in and look to short nickel stocks,. Moves in copper or gold or the oil price, anything that is going to provide a catalyst. If crude is down a lot, then I want to have a look at which US energy ETFs have moved. So there's plenty of places that you can look for a really good catalyst. But at the end of the day, that's only really the first step in the process
