"There are directors in films that I love and really care about, but that I don't think I would ever want to work with in this form," says video essayist. "Scorsese is a fascinating one to examine in that way because he's been working for so long so prolifically." Scorsese has touched on so many different things over his career: religion, politics, music, film-making techniques; there's some kind of connection you could see between all of those movies or people who have influenced each other.
