Marriage Is a Leap of Faith

Paul does not address marriage as a means of personal fulfillment and happiness. He rather talks about marriage as a way to grow in relationship with God. The Methodist Stanley Harwa says, destructive to marriage is the self-fulfillment ethic that assumes marriage and family are primarily institutions of personal fulfillment.
