The Financial Action to Ask Forged on Fraud (FATF) is a group of 12 countries. It aims to set standards for anti-money laundering and has the support of the G20. Peter Bergen says politicians are being tricked into passing rules that have no democratic basis. The FATF will be there forever if it continues its current course, he says.
