Many of China's scientists are very skilled, and their advances in many fields can benefit all mankind. Why would cooperation or even competition rather than obstruction not be a better policy? I think my view on this is that we can accept the US position that certain technologies are crucial for national security. Certain technologies are being abused in China for things that involve human rights violations. But then the question is what to do about it.
