For so long, we have operated under this assumption that mobile pastoralists would be archaeologically invisible. We've relied very heavilyn, much of africa, on the ethnographic record. And what we have found is, to our surprise, ancient pastoralists do leave behind pretty udetectable signatures. So slowly we're starting to reveal the, you know, previously assumed to be invisible, and is really exciting.
