The Damage on a Flight Attendant's Plane
Air traffic control had them in a holding pattern just east of the airport over the water at an altitude of 7,400 feet. The crews said they would need about 30 minutes to work through their procedures. There were reports that a number of aircraft components had been found by residents of Batam Island located just south of the airport. It's also noted that the captain made numerous announcements to the cabin with updates.
