The Effects of Reconsolidation Blockade on Synaptic Memory
The researchers used fluorescent dyes to count the number of synaptic connections. Then they gave a pulse of serotonin followed by a nesomiasis, and then at 48 hours, we recounted the varicosities. They found that indeed the number of these presynapticvaricosities which reflect synapses, they strengthened at the 24 hours after the serotonin treatment.
