The Ethics of Consciousness

I think it would be both I mean you imagine living with a robot that was super human in many respects and was doing whatever work you could assign it. You essentially want it to be a perfectly content slave right? And if this thing is conscious well then you have the further concern of you know is it ethical to build something that is smarter than you maybe even more creative than you but because of how it's built it's content to be enslaved by you for the rest of its life. If your computer could really show you what you care about what you're tending to do and how that may not in fact be aligned with what you will ultimately want to have done how do you live a life
