FLIT3ITD Induces Different Transcriptional Programs in Adult AML

Previous studies found overlapping cooperative target gene profiles for FLIT3ITD plus mutations in TET2, NPM1, or RUNX1. To date, most of the work in this area has been on mutations that occur more frequently in adult AML. When paired with NHD13, FLIT3itD activated different target genes and enhancers than when paired with RUNX1 mutations. By blocking interferon signaling, AML initiation was delayed and survival was extended.
