Is Kernel Density Estimation a Good Modeling Technique?
Kernel density estimation can be used to model data that doesn't have a closed form solution. The library is only 1D, but if you were to think of using this in a two-dimensional sense, you could actually build what would look like a heat map over your city. So that's another way to look at relation density or financial data or anything like that that can be modeled with kernel density estimation.
