1.2 million meals cooked and flash frozen here every week are sent out to hospitals, care homes, independent schools and nurseries. Appetito's main UK factory in Trowbridge is bigger than most domestic kitchens. Some of the ingredients, like the meat, are prepared from fresh. Other produce, such as the veg, arrive frozen, chopped and ready to cook. All types of system can deliver good food or if you get it wrong - we'll talk about the last 9 yards.
