How to Buy Bonds in a Rising Interest Rate Environment
Most superannuation portfolios have a bond component. A lot of the time with bonds, we talk about active and passive investments. You really don't want to be buying bonds and long-term bonds in a rising interest rate environment. If your mortgage goes to 6%, you may be more comfortable having your money on an offset account because it's guaranteed 6% return.
