The technology was a fraud, but it's very easy to see why it was so enticing. How impactful could this technology have been, if it worked? Creating a more stream lined and less logistically intensive way doing blood tests would have been really great for cn of the whole medical field. Shrinking tasks down on to smaller devices is something that people are working really hard to do.
