The End of Grief

I wonder if on some level, Sydney knows that this is happening, like some sort of visceral level. Like the reason she won't sleep with her boyfriend is because some part of her is like, "That penis raped my mother" Do you think she could be picking up on some sort of gut like instinct? This guy is dangerous. Or is it just like grief that keeps her from wanting to use her body? Oh, yeah. I think that the death, the brutal raping and murdering of your mom might, might put her in a way where she's not super into having sex or even in the right headspace to exist.
