The Limits of Love

Richard Roor says the pain we don't transform, we transmit. Love wants to give it all and just keep going as far as it can go but there's a limit. And if we are forced or force ourselves beyond that limit, love can too easily turn into resentment and into bitterness. That problem of finitude of the limits of love, we are at a danger of turning back in on ourselves - exactly how Luther would talk about sinned.
