Ancient greek literature is important in the indian text. We lost our own writings about a thousand years ago. Because of this enormous, massive loss, we are now forced to rely on foreign accounts of india written by people like shwanzang fahan from china. So you can never rely on any of these accounts entirely. But what we can do is take a big picture perspective and look at all the accounts of all these different foreigners who came from different parts of the world.
