What Is Stickiness?

Stickiness is broken into two chemical words, adhesion and cohesion. So i adhere to a cat because, a, i would like to pet the cat, but the cat doesn't really care. Whereas i co here to my wife because we would both like a hug. But then there's different like electrostatic stickiness, which is like electric forces holding things together. Gekos feats worker, geke's little feets work in a different way. I think they involve some sort of electrostatic attraction, but also maybe some mechanical adhesion. Er vander walls forces, which are like inter atomic forces holding thing together.
