The Importance of Consumption
In general, and certainly a little bit of this folks gets weird because there's an important difference between an individual household and a nation that the household has a definite life cycle. But for the individual household, it certainly is not true that in general, you're crushing it. If we're looking at it in money terms, then no, it's not true at all at the household level. Again, that would mean that you're spending more than your income.
