"I love a story where you just have a protagonist who's like super good at what they do, but there's also a lot of stuff that you have to really get right if you're going to have that kind of protagonist," he says. "John Wick is a great example of how you pull that off and how you start with a really large, like a really powerful antagonist ... And then those stakes and those obstacles just keep escalating across the story."
