Parenting in a Lynchpin Community

Jacob from barrington, illinois. Long time listener in a huge fan of your books. My question entails elements about status rolls, being a lynch pin and parenting. How do i balance using my kids to become independent, thinking lynchpins without being blacklisted from the community that has traditionally valued industrialism? So any guidance you can share for parents in my situation would be highly, highly appreciated.
