A good deal of non enforcement of contractioal obligations results from the high transaction cost of taking some one to court. To the extent that smart contracts would reduce these transaction costs, they might beneficially remove an impediment to less resourced parties contractual rights. But on the flip side as well, there's a lot of contracts that we are, that we enter into throughout our lives,. like having a lease on a home or a leases on a car... We actually rely quite heavily on transaction cost of implement of enforcing those contracts to give us a bit of leeway, right?
