The Institutional History of the Institute for Social Research
The book was a landmark in scholarship on the so-called Frank School, established in the early 1920s in Frankfurt, Germany. The result is a book which combines several different approaches at once. It's a collective biography, an institutional history and also an expository study of ideas. For me, your book still serves as the best introduction to the Frank School today.
