What Is the Difference Between Constitutionalism and Nationalism?
There is a striking semblance in the striking commonality, where elits on both sides are basically arguing. And this ties in very nicely with the colonial project, right? In the sense that the colonial ideology basically believes in this. And it continues and it continues. Now this tension becomes even more as we go along, the 19 twenties an the 19 thirties. So at no point of time could the mythical idea of the constitution, we the people could ever be fully implemented. The making of pacistan is an excellent illustration of why there's a tension between nationalism and constitutionalism.
