Griffon: Stanley Kubrick had been offered the novel fail safe, another nuclear right? This is often sort of misrepresented, right? Right. There was some kind of lawsuit filed during the production of Dr. Strange Love that meant that fail save had to come out after Dr. Strange love. Griffen: I highly recommend it is so taught and interesting and very different from a lot of his other movies. And it's really, really fascinating to imagine a world in which these two guys like flipped these movies.
