Exploring the roots of Van Til's Trinitarian theology in the reformed traditions of Old Princeton and Old Amsterdam, this chapter details his formulation of the Trinity with an emphasis on numerical unity, divine simplicity, and three personal subsistences within the undivided essence of God. It clarifies that Van Til's theology is in line with ancient trinitarianism and influenced by A. A. Hodge and Hermann Boving.
