Machin's Critics of Liberalism

Machin's criticisms of liberalism were instances not of reasoned debate, but examples of spreading misinformation about the PCUSA. He added insult to injury by forming a renegade missions agency that had disrupted the peace and unity of the church. Missing from this logic was the uncomfortable detail of Presbyterian church law. The commission found Machin guilty on all six counts.
