What Are Some of the Key Features of Amazon Subscription?
Jeff Bezos: I remember those meetings with Jeff where we're talking through S3 or EC2 or payments and some of those didn't go well. Just building reliable, recurring billing at scale and avoiding fraud in that scenario is challenging,. We had to build completely different processes than it had been used. And then because we were fulfilling a physical good out of our warehouses, those warehouses had to have methods that would let them know that this was a subscriber in good standing.
