The Importance of Jewish Magic in the PGM
The Jewish magical contributions to the PGM are incredibly important. Many angel and demon names also being incorporated from Greco-Egyptian magicians into the spells and incantations at the time. Oil scrying, Jewish thumbnail scrying, those have a Jewish origin. And the fourth area is the pentacles, which we find in the key of Solomon manuscripts, but we don't find in Greek sources.
