CHAPTER

Is There a Difference Between Perceptual Response and Nears Data for Triathlon?

A lot of triathletes get to a point where muscle fatigue is limiting them rather than ventilation and reaching, they can't quite reach anywhere close to their maximum heart rate that you might get in running. And if you combine that with the athletes saying "I feel like my muscles just give up on me," then nears data can potentially inform what your issues are.
