The Myth of Diabolical Competence
The Olin Foundation was really there at the period of time that you were field building this new conservative legal movement as opposed to scaling it up or nurturing it. They were not the only, they were, there was also the Bradley Foundation, there was the Skate Foundation, there were another, a number of other conservative foundations. And all had relatively small staffs, they all had this norm of giving mostly institutional support and doing so for the long term.
