I have a rendezvous with death by Alan Siegel. Henry Reed in that Chris U-bank recitation naming of parts Henry Reed's poem which is a World War II poem from 1942 that jocks the poses images of weaponry with spring. I suppose it's because spring represents life and rebirth and all that and war not so much. It may be he shall take my hand do you remember what I said to in Alan Ross's mess deck there are no eyes in this poem there's plenty of eyes and me's and my's in I have a Rendezvous With Death.
