I'm very proud of what donation has done for intensive care, both here and in Canada and Australia. The moral authority for donation action stems out of the desire of the person or their family representing them to become a donor. And that's changed my attitude towards intensive care and the way I care for people. It can be a mindfulness moment when you actually pause and think about what this is.
