The Milky Way and Andromeda Have a Strong Connection

There are two big, dominant galaxies in the local group. One of them is the milkyay, and the other is and Andromeda. And then there are a bunch of smaller dwarf galaxies that we haven't studied very much. The macelanic clouds are probably going to get smashed up and die. They are probablyGoing to get slowly absorbed. But the milky way is like moving rain. It's moving all the time. For example, the Milky way is moving towards the andrometa galaxy at about a hundred kilometers per second. That's about 250 thousand miles per hour. Why? Because of gravity.
