Is This First Book With the Map, How Was It Received?

The map helps with that immersion, right? Like everyone's been saying, it feels real. I do know that the book was like weirdly misunderstood. People weren't quite sure what to make of it because even though it is a utopia, there's also stuff in there that's not quite utopic. One way a map can be really good at world building is not just what it shows but what kind of style it is. It creates this really fun visual style where it looks a little bit older still.
