The President's Commission on White House Fellows
The President's Commission on White House Fellows was chaired by a man named Dr. Milton Friedman, one of the great economists of all time. "I found my name on a thin envelope saying I was a nice person, but I wasn't a White House fellow," he says. He then went to work for Spiro Pagnu, who was Richard Nixon's vice president and negotiated trade agreements with Russia. The next day Gerald Ford asked him if he wanted to be his nominee for vice president.
