Is There Something Special About Consciousness That Makes This Problem Particularly Difficult?

Is there something special about consciousness ht makes this problem particularly, either particularly difficult or insoluble? I a lot of people think consciousness is pretty special, so it wouldn't be, perhaps, too surprising if if it did pose a very different kind of problem to the things at temperature, or whatever posesnow. But i think that involves reconceptializing consciousness a bit to make it, to sort of bring it down to earth a bit in that way,. So we have to accept that some indications are better indicators of consciousness than others.
