The Importance of Fair Competition in Free Speech
In the 1970s and 80s, it was largely sort of a given that the Nazis had no right to speak. That continues today. Just look at the folks on the sort of common good constitutionalism side who think that blasphemy laws are constitutional. The whole idea of fair competition implies that bad ideas can win. Bad ideas win all the time.
