I think that what we're learning now about private equity, we have enough longitudinal data, right? We have decades of data about what happens when companies are taken over by these actors who pile the debt on them. And so there are more and more targeting industries that used to be viewed as socially important, social goods not expected to run for profits because there's not a target rich environment anymore. So healthcare education have become increasingly the focus and the target. That would naturally have led to worse outcomes in industries,. COVID or not that are socially important.
