Mars Sample Return - Is There an Opportunity?

Nassa's mars programme right now is going all in on mars sample return, which is an interesting problem. I see more overlap with the other recommended mars mission in this decatal called the mars life explorer mission. Maybe there's some real opportunity here for nassa to re engage as a partner on x o mars for a lower cost than just building a brand new mission of their own. Who knows. There's some interesting opportunities toto take advantage of the situation. It's a very dynamic and evolving situation.
