The SAT was decided when you were 17 years old. Right. And you prepped for the SAT. Like, that makes no sense. So colleges are looking at that and say, okay, one, there's the marginal, some places there's no benefit, right? But often there's just, okay, a marginal benefit of using the test, but there's a cost to that, right? Two is one of the costs are who does it advantage in our system and does it create problems for us? If requiring the test excludes applications from a large swath of the country, right, rural students, low income students, then the harm of requiring it outweighs the benefit.Right.
